Brillant colored spawning Chinook started out on a canvas of clear glass. Using my layer/fire/repeat technique colors were layered to create brilliant burgundy, green and mauve shades. Chinook is attached to a layered glass background created with copper powder (brilliant blue base) and various shades of aqua and teal glass. Piece is supported on two legs of apricot wood from our heritage apricot grove.
