Spring Cardinal

This beautiful red cardinal is resting on a spring branch.  It was created using my glass frit laying technique to develop depth, rich red tones and textures - the layering of feathers on a bird, a rounded branch and gentle leaves.  Plate has gentle slopes.  Piece measures 10" x 10"
