Sold-Platte River Crane Sunset

Piece was created using my layer/fire/repeat process that began on a canvas of white sheet glass.  Each layer was created with powders and glass frit, then each layer is fired and repeated.  This technique creates depth and colors that pulls you into the scene.  Each crane was hand painted prior to the last firing, which is what gives the visual depth of cranes flying in front of the setting sun.
