Cardinal Plate - 10" x 10" - sold

This beautiful red cardinal is resting on a snowy berry branch.  It was created using my laying technique to develop rich red tones and create the texture of layering feathers, snow on a branch and rounded berries.  Piece was designed on a clear base with snow scattered around behind the cardinal.  Plate has gentle slopes.
